Dear Learning Disability Nurses,
Changing Our Lives would like to invite you and your colleagues to a free virtual learning and sharing event about Postural Care, aimed at Learning Disability Nurses and Learning Disability Nursing Students.
Good postural care protects against causes of preventable death, reduces pain and body distortion and improves quality of life for people with learning disabilities. This practical, interactive workshop will cover why postural care should be part of your daily toolkit and quick tips on how Learning Disability Nurses can incorporate it into their practice.
This free event will take place via Microsoft Teams.

Changing Our Lives is a rights-based organisation working in co-production with disabled people to tackle health inequalities. We know that no-one is too disabled to live an ordinary life with the right support in place. We have a long history of working with people who have the label of Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and their families. We also work alongside NHS England and Improvement and alongside Health Education England to champion best practice in Learning Disability Nursing. http://www.changingourlives.org
