As part of Learning Disability Week 2022 we are pleased to share with you ‘Postcards on a Song’.

The aim of the project was to showcase a selection of thank yous from learning disability nurses to people they have worked with, who in some way, have taught them something.

The premise of this idea, is to highlight the significance of the learning that people with lived experience offer us. It is fair to say, this is perhaps some of the most valuable learning we can acquire.

The postcards hail from learning disability nurses from across the UK and whilst they are only a small representation of our profession they serve to remind us of the valuable relationships we, as Learning Disability Nurses, share with the people and families we walk alongside.

So, grab yourself a cup of tea, put on some headphones, immerse yourself in the digital booklet and the ‘Postcards on a Song’ playlist and enjoy!
