Learning Disability Nurses Day 1st November 2024
Brought to you by the UK Learning Disability Consultant Nurse Network, delivered all over the UK by Learning Disability Nurses locally.
Following on from the great success last year this year we are having a virtal National Celebration on the 1st November from 13:30pm to 14:30pm. Please email steve.hardy@nhs.net for more details.
We will also be doing a tour around schools nationally promoting Learning Disability Nursing as a career. This programme will start in November and will run for six months. It will consist of virtual and face to face seminars and a roadshow joining schools career days. If you want to know your local career hub or would like us to come to your local school please contact steve.hardy@nhs.net
The UK Learning Disability Consultant Nurse Network (UKLDCNN) identified an annual day to celebrate learning disability nurses and raise the profile of their profession as a positive career choice. We have worked in conjunction with the UK and Ireland based Learning/Intellectual Disability Nursing Academic Network (LIDNAN).
Learning Disability Nurses Day is on the 1st November.
