Sarah Jackson - Ask Listen Do

Sarah Jackson is a learning disability nurse currently working in the national autism programme at NHS England and Improvement. Last year, as part of her national role, Sarah, along with lots of other people co-produced an innovative piece of work that looked at how education, health and social care could respond much more positively and proactively to feedback, concerns and complaints raised by people with a learning disability, autistic people and their family members. For more information about this very important project please visit: www.england.nhs.uk/asklistendo .”

"People with a learning disability, autistic people and their family carers often don’t feel heard or understood by professionals. My mission is to make sure we follow principles of coproduction in everything we do."
