Newly Registered Nurses Network - a typical day

My name is Daniel Branch and I am a Community Learning Disability nurse from North West England. I currently work for Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Trust as part of their Intensive Support Team.

Having started as a newly qualified nurse I have been in the role for a little over a year. The video forms part of a project worked on by the RCN Newly Registered Nurses Network who wanted to try and show how diverse nursing can be by showing what a typical day is like for a whole range of network members from across all the fields of nursing.

We hope that the videos will encourage people who might not otherwise have considered learning disability nursing to think if there is a potential role for them in the future.
