World Autism Acceptance Week

To mark the World Autism Acceptance Week, we're resharing this learning called 'Hello, my name is Tom' that Helen Laverty developed with HELM.

This resource gives an insight into the world of a young person with an Autistic Spectrum disorder (ASD). It concentrates on interaction with Tom, a young person with ASD, within the school environment.

The learning was created by a learning disability nursing student based on his interaction with a number of individuals with ASD.
