-The National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) are looking for people with a learning disability, family members and learning disability nurses to get involved in an exciting new project

NDTi has been asked by NHS England and Improvement (NHSEI) Learning Disability Team, to undertake a piece of exploratory work into the role of learning disability nurses in in-patient settings in England.

As part of this work, NDTi are currently looking for people with a learning disability, or a learning disability and autism (not autistic people without a learning disability at this time) to help advise the project. They would like to hear from you, if you have lived in an in-patient setting and had a learning disability nurse involved in your stay. They would like you to help them write the questions that are asked in the project. You can do this by talking to Vicky directly or joining a small group session. NDTi are able to offer you a £20 voucher for your time. Please contact Vicky if you would like to know more information Victoria.mason-angelow@ndti.org.uk

NDTi are also looking to hear from family members of individuals who have lived in in-patient settings who did not have a learning disability nurse involved in their stay. They would like you to help them develop the questions they ask in the project. You can do this by talking to Vicky directly or joining a small group session. NDTi are able to offer you a £20 voucher for your time. Please contact Vicky if you would like to know more information Victoria.mason-angelow@ndti.org.uk
